Paul Q. Goyette, Esq.

Paul Q. Goyette is the founder of the Law Firm of Goyette & Associates. Paul is one of the preeminent trial lawyers in California representing public safety employees with numerous winning jury trial and court trial verdicts to his credit. Paul is a 1983 graduate of Humboldt State University and a member of the Xi Sigma Pi Honor Society. Paul attended law school at the University of San Diego from 1985 to 1988 and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1988.

In 1988 Paul began representing public safety employees when working with Stephen H. Silver at the Law Firm of Silver, Hadden & Silver. In 1991, Paul and his family relocated to Northern California and Goyette & Associates was founded. Since the founding of Goyette & Associates Paul has represented hundreds of institutional clients such as public sector labor organizations, and small to medium size businesses. In addition, Paul has successfully represented thousands of individual clients including public safety employees in a wide range of legal matters.
Paul is an expert trial lawyer who has obtained numerous winning verdicts in jury trials and court trials. Much of Paul's trial experience has been in the representation of public safety employees in criminal defense matters arising from the course and scope of their jobs. In his trial practice, Paul has successfully represented clients in a wide range of cases from complicated homicides to less complicated theft or fraud.

Throughout his oversight of Goyette & Associates, Inc., Paul has insisted upon a philosophy whereby Goyette & Associates, Inc., provides top quality service to our clients with aggressive, uncompromising representation.

Paul resides with his four daughters and his wife Janet, in El Dorado Hills, California. Paul is also an accomplished outdoor athlete and has successfully competed in over 25 years of adventure racing, triathlons, marathons, and mountain bike races. Paul is also an accomplished mountaineer, skier and kayaker.
